ASU Model One
Precision instrument for structured and unstructured field environments.
Extended duration operation. Dual-band acquisition. Walnut-stabilized chassis.
Not all configurations are available for civilian deployment.
Built for conditions that have no name.
CNC-milled 6061-T6 aluminum housing with walnut stabilizer panels. Porthole display bezel is machined from a single billet. All toggle controls are military-spec brass with positive click confirmation. The unit does not rattle.
Integrated dual-antenna array for simultaneous acquisition across two independent bands. Antenna geometry is optimized for unobstructed line-of-sight and degraded environments. Band assignments are configurable in firmware.
Circular porthole display with directional indicator array (N/S/E/W). Five amber LED status indicators on upper panel. Physical toggle and rotary controls only — no touchscreen, no capacitive input. The interface does not require explanation to operate. Most operators report an immediate intuitive response to the controls.
Rated for operation in environments classified as unstructured, transitional, or undefined. The ASU-1 performs consistently in conditions that cause other instruments to behave erratically. The mechanism by which this is achieved is documented in Section 4 of the operating manual.
Section 4 requires authorization to access. Contact support to request clearance.
